Learn how to manage customers and suppliers in Resello.

The Contacts feature helps you manage your network of customers and suppliers.

Overview

Contacts represent people and businesses you interact with:

  • Customers - People who buy from you
  • Suppliers - Sources where you buy inventory
  • Both - Contacts who are both customers and suppliers

Adding a Contact

  1. Go to Contacts in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Contact
  3. Fill in contact details
  4. Select the contact type
  5. Save

Customer

People who buy from you:

  • Link to orders
  • Track purchase history
  • Manage communications

Supplier

Sources for inventory:

  • Link to purchases
  • Track sourcing history
  • Note contact details

Both

Contacts who are both:

  • Can appear in orders and purchases
  • Flexible relationship tracking

Using Contacts

With Orders

Link customers to orders:

  1. Create an order
  2. Select or add the customer
  3. Customer history tracks automatically

With Purchases

Link suppliers to purchases:

  1. Record a purchase
  2. Select or add the supplier
  3. Source history builds over time
