Configure the selling platforms where you list and sell your items.

Overview

Platforms represent the marketplaces where you sell:

  • eBay
  • Mercari
  • Poshmark
  • Facebook Marketplace
  • Amazon
  • And more

Why Configure Platforms?

  • Track listings - Know where each item is listed
  • Record sales - Associate orders with platforms
  • Monitor payouts - Match payments to platforms
  • Analyze performance - Compare platform effectiveness

Adding a Platform

  1. Go to Settings > Platforms
  2. Click Add Platform
  3. Enter the platform name
  4. Configure details
  5. Save

Common Platforms

eBay

The largest online marketplace. Great for:

  • Wide variety of items
  • Auction and fixed price
  • Global reach

Mercari

Mobile-focused marketplace. Good for:

  • Quick, easy listings
  • Straightforward shipping
  • Local selling

Poshmark

Fashion-focused platform. Best for:

  • Clothing and accessories
  • Branded items
  • Social selling features

Facebook Marketplace

Local and shipped sales. Useful for:

  • Local pickup items
  • Larger/heavier items
  • No fees for local sales

Amazon

World's largest retailer. For:

  • New items
  • Books and media
  • FBA fulfillment

Depop

Gen-Z focused marketplace. Popular for:

  • Vintage clothing
  • Trendy items
  • Younger demographics

Etsy

Handmade and vintage. Best for:

  • Vintage items (20+ years old)
  • Handmade goods
  • Craft supplies

Managing Platforms

Activate/Deactivate

Toggle platforms on/off as your business changes. Deactivated platforms:

  • Don't appear in dropdowns
  • Keep existing data intact
  • Can be reactivated later

Editing

Update platform names or settings anytime.

Deleting

Remove platforms you no longer use. Note:

  • Existing listings/orders keep their platform reference
  • Consider deactivating instead of deleting

Best Practices

  1. Add all platforms - Configure everywhere you sell
  2. Keep updated - Add new platforms as you expand
  3. Track consistently - Always record which platform for each sale
  4. Review performance - Compare platforms in reports
